BASIC PISTOL CLEANING CLASS (1-Hour)
I will teach you how to clean all parts of your handgun and how to properly store your firearm for long periods of time.
Why Clean a Gun?
Proper firearm maintenance is essential for responsible gun ownership. Every time you fire a gun, combustion byproducts accumulate, causing fouling that can reduce accuracy and reliability. Regular cleaning ensures smooth operation, minimizes malfunctions, and extends the life of your firearm.
How Often Should You Clean a Gun?
Recreational Firearms: Clean after every few uses or as needed.
Concealed Carry/Home Defense Guns: Clean regularly for maximum reliability.
Black Powder Firearms: Clean after every use to prevent corrosion.
Firearms with Corrosive Ammunition: Clean immediately after firing to avoid damage.
Initial Preparation
Safety First: Ensure the firearm is unloaded. Remove the magazine, clear the chamber, and visually inspect the firearm.
